Risk of flooding in the city has significantly reduced
Cork City Council say the high tide passed at 12 noon reducing the risk of flooding
However they say they will continue to monitor the situation but are urging people not to venture out into the city because of a risk of flying debris.
Speaking to RedFM news Deputy Chief Executive for Cork City Council Ruth Buckley says people should remain vigilant and not venture outdoors.
