Talks to resolve a disagreement over lighting costs at Pairc Ui Chaoimh are underway.

Discussions between representatives of Cork County Board and City Hall regarding the GAA's financial contribution towards public lighting at the newly renovated stadium took place last week.

Cork City Council sought a special contribution of €700,000 for the installation of lights on the roads around Pairc Ui Chaoimh- however the GAA only offered €60,000 because they are exempt from development contributions due to their voluntary status.

Traffic management and cleansing arrangement are also being discussed.
