Taoiseach confirms progression of M20 Cork-Limerick motorway project
The Taoiseach has confirmed at a breakfast briefing in the city this morning that the Cork -Limerick M20 motorway has gone to planning stage.
Leo Varadkar made the announcement in the newly revamped Páirc Uí Chaoimh to a room full of the city's business leaders, many of whom have long been calling for the construction of the motorway to link the two cities.
The Taoiseach also pledged that the project will be included in the Government's Strategic Infrastructure Plan.
