The Taoiseach has made a formal State apology to those affected by the Cervical Check scandal.
Speaking to a Dáil gallery packed with women and families impacted by the controversy - including Cork campaigner Stephen Teap - Leo Varadkar apologised for the lives that were "shattered and destroyed".
A number of people were visibly emotional as the Taoiseach addressed them.
