The Coal Quay Family Festival is being held on Cornmarket Street today
The family festival celebrates the heritage and tradition of the Coal Quay
A photographic exhibition of old maps and illustrations will also be held along the street showcasing the Coal Quay Market in its former days with its quintessential traders dressed in traditional shawls.
In addition, a week long photographic exhibition will also be on show in St. Peter's Cork, North Main Street along with a film exhibit showcasing earlier Festivals.
