The Frequency Of Two Of Cork's Busiest Bus Services Is Set To Increase
It's after complaints that the 220 and 220x which service both Carrigaline and Ballincollig were unreliable with limited capacity.
The frequency is now to be increased to every 15 minutes.
Since the introduction of the bus services passenger numbers have doubled.
Meanwhile it's hoped more emphasis will be placed on bus services Leeside in the wake of the Ireland 2040 plan where Cork infrastructure was one of the big winners.
Speaking to RedFM News Tánaiste Simon Coveney says investment in public transport Leeside will be a priorty:
