The Housing Minister says his main priority is to increase the supply of housing

It comes as a new report indicates that plans to scrap the help-to-buy scheme will not sufficiently curb inflation

The Department of Housing is undertaking a review of the scheme after concerns that it hasn't led to an increase in supply.

It's also looking at the costs involved in building homes, as the Construction Industry Federation claims they're prohibitive.

Minister Eoghan Murphy says increasing supply is at the heart of both these reviews.
