The Victim Of A Fatal Stabbing In Mallow Last Night Has Been Named Locally
24 year old Conor Quinn was from Loughrea in Galway and had been in Cork visiting relatives in Killavullen in North Cork.
He was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital last night following an altercation on Bridge Street.
Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry and have made a direct appeal to find a man who was present when the victim was injured.
It's believed the victim had been involved in an earlier row at a horse show in Buttevant.
Detectives say they're aware of the background circumstances and are assuring that any person that comes forward will be dealt with professionally in accordance with the law.
