Tit Bonhomme Tragedy Remembered

The first aniversary of the sinking of the Tit Bonhomme, off the West Cork coast was marked last night. A special mass was held in Union Hall to remember the five fishermen, including three Egyptians, who lost their lives in the tragedy. The sole survivor of the tragedy Abdul Mohammed, travelled all the way from Egypt to attend the memorial. Locals, friends and relatives also gathered in St.Bridgets Church for the mass.
