Today is the deadline for the public to make their views known on the proposed €5 million flood relief works at Morrison’s Island.
The proposed OPW project will incorporate the defences into a new street design which will stretch from Parnell Bridge to Parliament Bridge and will also include a boardwalk and a public plaza.
Up to 50 car park spaces will be retained alog Morrison's Quay however city centre traders are up in arms with the the news that 100 spaces will be removed as a result of the works
The closing date for submissions is 4pm today
