UCC students union has confirmed that today's RAG week activities have been cancelled due to the death of a student at the weekend..
The details are only just emerging but it's understood the 22 year old student was from Tramore in Waterford...
The chaplaincy at UCC have been in contact with his family and as a mark of respect a decision was taken to cancel all of today's RAG week activities..
His removal is taking place this evening with the funeral on Thursday
The family have requested privacy at this time
