Townlands Carnival Director Hopes to Expand Festival In Coming Years
The director of a Cork festival which is now in its fourth year says he's hoping to expand the event in the coming years.
Townlands Carnival is taking place right across this weekend at Rusheen Farm in Macroom and it's been credited with providing a boost to the town and the wider region.
Sister Sledge, and Kila are among the acts taking to the stage but organisers say there's something for everyone with play areas, children's entertainers and activities for all ages.
Festival director Sam Beshoff has been telling RedFM News about the line up:
