The controversial car ban was introduced in recent months and prohibits private vehicles from accessing the city's main street between the hours of three o'clock and 6.30pm.

Some traders have reported a drop in takings and believe shoppers are avoiding the city centre while others have expressed concern about the negativity surrounding the ban and say in the long term it'll benefit everyone.
