Traders welcome City Council plans to purchase derelict buildings on North Main Street
Plans by Cork City Council to buy derelict buildings on North Main Street have been welcomed by traders in the area.
The buildings at 62, 63, 64 and 65 on North Main Street have been on the derelict sites register since 2016, and the Echo report that the Council have issued a notice of its intention to make a compulsory purchase order under the Derelict Sites Act.
The owners of the buildings have until July 14th to lodge an objection.
