Tributes Pour In For Cork Actor Michael Twomey
The Everyman Theatre says Michael Twomey's legacy will live on as long as productions continue to be staged Leeside.
Tributes continue to pour in for the legendary Cork actor who passed away yesterday following a battle with cancer.
Michael will forever be remembered as one half of the comedy duo Cha and Miah, which he played alongside Frank Duggan.
Their legendary sketches found fame on the long running RTE series "Halls Pictorial Weekly", but he was also an accomplished writer, director and producer.
Speaking to RedFM News the Everyman's Julie Kelleher says the success of the theatre will be his legacy:
A reception into St Michael’s Church Blackrock will be held tomorrow at 11:45am for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm.
This will be followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 4:00pm.
