Two Men Return For Trial After Murder Of Man In Fermoy Last Year

Two men have returned for trial after they were charged with the murder of a man in Fermoy last year.

Slovakian national, Ludovit Pasztor died after being struck with an iron bar during a row at a Fermoy filling station in February 2017.

Two polish nationals aged 30 and 44 were both charged with the killing of Mr Pasztor and have appeared in court again today where an application was granted to have both men returned for trial

The late Mr Pasztor had come to Ireland in 2010 and and had given up working to become a full time carer for his wife who was seriously ill at the time of his death.
