Two people taken to hospital following N25 crash
Two people were rushed to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision on the N25 Cork-Waterford Road this morning. The crash initially involved two cars at Junction 2 Little Island after a car drove the wrong way on the N25. A total of 5 cars were ultimately damaged in the incident which led to the closure of the road for a time. Two women were taken to Cork University Hospital but Gardaí say they were not seriosuly injured in the crash. Earlier eyewitnesses reported seeing the car driving at speed in the wrong direction on the road.
