UCC Moves Up Education World Rankings
University College Cork has moved up in the Times Higher Education World Rankings. The move marks UCC out as heading for a top 200 global position. The college has also improved its outlook nationally and remains among the top three Irish universities. President of UCC Dr Michael Murphy has welcomed the rankings and says they show that Irish universities are preforming creditably in the face of difficult austerity challenges.
