UK holiday firm has committed to changing work practices after blacklist of Irish surnames was revealed

It's part of a whistleblower's claim of discrimination against the traveller community.

An investigation by the Equality and Human Rights Commission has found there was a list of so-called "undesirable guests" which included names like Leahy, Corcoran, McDonagh, Murphy and O'Brien.

The Independent in the UK reports the Britannia Hotel Group, which owns Pontins has entered a legally binding agreement to address the issues.
