Visiting Restrictions Still In Place In Mercy University Hospital
Visiting restrictions are still in operation at the Mercy University Hospital due to the continuing high number of confirmed patients with the flu in the hospital and in the community.
It's been confirmed to RedFM News that the hospital will deal with exceptional cases on an individual basis.
The hospital has thanked the public for cooperating with the visiting restrictions and has asked people with flu-like symptoms to visit or telephone their GPs rather than present at the hospital’s Emergency Department.
