Workers and customers at Lloyds Pharmacy present petition to HQ in Cork
The plight of workers at Lloyds Pharmacy was highlighted in Cork today when a petition signed by over 15,000 people was presented at the head quarters of the pharmacy’s parent company, McKesson.
They're calling for an end to zero hour contracts, a sick pay scheme, and fair pay and leave.

This action will be followed by a fifth strike day tomorrow with workers hitting out at the company's continued refusal to accept a Labour Court recommendation to engage with the workers.
Speaking to RedFM News General Secretary of Mandate Trade Union John Douglas says if today's action is ignored workers will have no choice but to escalate their campaign:
This lunch time Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation Heather Humphreys backed the striking workers and called on the company to engage with them to find a solution.
Mother of three Alex Barton from Kinsale has also shown her support for the workers and she told RedFM News that the treatment of the staff at Llyods pharmacy is unfair:
