Youghal has been identifed as the town with the highest commercial vacancy rate in Cork
Almost 1 in 5 commercial properties in the East Cork town were vacant in the last quarter of last year while Carrigaline was identified as the town with the lowest commercial vacancy rate in Cork at 9.8%.
The Geoview Commercial vacancy report found that across Cork 63% of vacant commerical properties have been empty for over three years while nearly 12% of properties in the city were classed as vacant in the last quarter of 2017
Nationally, Ballybofey in Co. Donegal, at 28.8%, remains the town with the highest commercial vacancy rate in the country.
