Young Girl Left With Serious Injuries Following Fireworks Incident In Cork City
The incident happened near Barrack Street at around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon
A young girl has been left with serious injuries following a fireworks incident in Cork City.
Emergency services were called to the scene in a laneway near Barrack Street at around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The 14 year-old was found with serious injuries to her face and hand and was rushed to Cork University Hospital to undergo medical treatment.
Gardai say an investigation is underway into the incident
