43% of workers say they don't want to return to the office in the post-COVID19 era

43% of workers don't want to return to the office when the pandemic is over.

A new Esri Ireland survey shows over half of people want to work from home at least part-time once restrictions have lifted.

One-in-ten would like to move to a rural area.

Esri Ireland Managing Director, Paul Sinnott says more amenities need to be given to remote workers in rural areas:

"For example one of the interesting aspects of the current programme for Government is the Town Centres First policy, which is all about the regeneration of the rural towns and villages, and I think if that is escalated to some degree.. there will be a lot more amenities for people to actually live in a rural community"
