Aer Lingus says staff won't have their hours and pay restored after SIPTU members voted down recovery plan

Aer Lingus says staff won't have their hours and pay restored after SIPTU members voted down a recovery plan agreed with union bosses.
They voted by 55% to 45% against the Covid-19 crisis recovery plan proposed by the airline.
The proposals were put to a ballot of the union's 1,500 members at Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports over recent days.
SIPTU says its negotiators will now meet with shop stewards to try to chart a way forward.
