Bruce Springsteen Releasing Croke Park Gigs As Live Album
Great news for all of you who saw The Boss at GAA headquarters!
You can re-live the concert all over again thanks to a live album!
The two concerts which were held on Friday May 27th and Sunday May 29th were recorded in full and will be made available as live albums from Bruce's website from next Wednesday (June 15th). The two sold out shows were part of Springsteen's European leg of his The River tour and saw 160,000 people descending on Croke Park over the two nights.
Both shows received great reviews with Springsteen playing out an almost three-and-a-half-hour set with his E Street Band. On the Sunday night of his Irish residency audiences were treated to Bono as a special guest on stage where he joined Bruce in singing Patti Smith's Because The Night which The Boss wrote for the star.
If you're unable to get your hands on the live album you'll also be able to hear the shows on Springsteen's SiriusXM radio show E Street Radio.
We're guessing Enda Kenny will want to have another listen to the shows to get some more practice on that air guitar.
