Casting For Gogglebox Ireland Is Set To Begin!
The show will hit our screens in the Autumn!
It was announced a few months ago that an Irish version of the popular Channel 4 show 'Gogglebox' was on the cards. Since then we haven't heard much more about the production of the show but today the Irish Independent is reporting that it's now "full steam ahead" for an Irish Gogglebox.
If you're not familiar with Gogglebox, it's an entertainment programme based around families and friends watching popular TV show in their own homes and giving their views about what's happening on their screens. It could be the news, a movie, the X Factor or even a David Attenborough documentary!
We're sure there are plenty of Irish families or groups of friends who have the wit and charm that some of the families on the UK version of the show and therefore would fit the profile perfectly.
Details about casting have yet to be revealed so keep an eye out for further updates!
