Longitude Festival 2021 has been cancelled

Longitude Festival has announced that this year's concerts will not go ahead.

The organisers of the annual festival in Marlay Park took to social media to release a statement regarding the decision.

They said: "Following the government’s most recent announcement it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make Longitude happen this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, and it is with great regret that we must announce that this year’s festival will not take place."

"We are so sorry to the thousands of people who bought tickets to this year’s festival and are absolutely devastated that, once again, we won’t be able to welcome you all to Marlay Park this Summer."

Anyone that purchased a ticket for this year's event will receive a refund for the tickets from their point of purchase but if you booked online or by phone you don't need to do anything, the refund will be processed via your payment method and can take up to seven days to appear in your account.

The Longitude team also announced that next year's festival will take place from 1st-3rd July 2022.
