For a small country we definitely make an impression in the movie industry!
As well as Saoirse Ronan gracing the cover of it's newest edition for being named as a "Next Generation Leader" who is "ready to take over in their fields" they have also featured two Irish feature films in it's top ten movies of 2016.
The influential TIME magazine named Sing Street and The Lobster in it's top choices which is a fantastic boost to both movies as well as the Irish film industry as a whole.
Sing Street, a musical set in Dublin in the 1980's, received critical acclaim. The film which was directed by John Carney has received an 8.3/10 rating on IMDB and an impressive 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. The inclusion in TIME's top ten can only do more wonders for the feel-good flick.
