WATCH: James Corden Joins Coldplay To Perform Prince Tribute
TV host James Corden joined Coldplay on stage for his birthday and to help out with a tribute to the late Prince.
Chris Martin managed to convince the Carpool Karaoke star to accompany them on stage for the tribute and perform a duet at the Rose Bowl in California.
Martin and Corden joined forces to sing the Prince penned song Nothing Compares 2 U which was released by Sinead O'Connor.
After finishing the acoustic number, the Coldplay front man invited the whole arena to sing Happy Birthday to James as they surprised him with a cake on stage.
It's safe to say that Corden appreciated the gesture and later tweeted saying it was the best birthday present ever.
Best birthday present EVER!!!! https://t.co/tSAKUYEw6Y
