The Netflix original series has proven to be a huge success with the first three seasons drawing a massive audience. The story of Orange Is The New Black is based on the memoir of Piper Kerman, a woman who was in a minimum security federal prison. The Netflix series focuses on different women in the fictional Litchfield prison while particularly concentrating on the story of Piper Chapman played by Taylor Schilling.
