We Already Have A Potential Headliner For Glastonbury 2017
Glastonbury 2016 is just about over so the obvious thing to do is look ahead to next year!
Glastonbury is one of the world's most famous music festivals. The biggest names in music want to play and all wish for a headline slot on the Pyramid Stage. This year saw the likes of Muse, Adele and Coldplay taking the big spots on the main stage at the festival.
Next year's festival is already on the minds of the organisers and we already have a potential headliner on the cards.
It's rumoured that Ed Sheeran may be filling one of the headline slots at next year's festival. He is used to selling out stadiums but will he be able to take on the 180,000 strong crowd at the English festival?
Ed is currently taking a year out after a hectic schedule. It is expected that he will make a return near the end of 2016 with his highly anticipated third album. Sheeran did make his intentions clear that he was aiming for the Glasto stage last October when he said " the next festival I do I will be headlining Glastonbury". It is reported that festival organiser are "keen" to secure Sheeran as a headlining act.
