Young Offenders Star Wins Olivier Award In London

Chris Walley who stars as Jock O'Keeffe in The Young Offenders has won an Olivier Award.

The Cork actor's talents have been causing a stir in the UK and have now won him the prestigious theatre award.

Walley picked up the award for his role in Martin McDonagh's critically acclaimed show The Lieutenant of Inishmore. The show ran in London's Noel Coward Theatre last year and also starred Irish Poldark star Aidan Turner.

At the end of last year, following his graduation from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Walley was also honoured by BAFTA by being named on their Breakthrough Brits list.
