AUDIO: Post Match Interviews with County Champions Kanturk
Kanturk are the 2017 Premier Intermediate Hurling Champions after a 0-17 to 1-12 win over Mallow.
A 56th minute goal from Mallow's Gerry Hayes saw them take a two point lead, but before the hour mark Kanturk had leveled the sides for a 6th time through Ian Walsh and a Lorcan McLoughlin free.
Kanturk were awarded a penalty in injury time and when Anthony Nash's strike was superbly saved by Aidan Long we looked set for a replay, however Kanturk delivered again through McLoughlin and Ryan Walsh to take the honours.
