Avondale United into Intermediate Cup Final
Avondale United booked their place in the FAI Intermediate Cup final yesterday for the first time since 2014.
Ken Bruton's side defeated old rivals Rockmount by two goals to nil in Avondale Park, thanks to goals from Mark O;Sullivan and Danny O'Connell.
Avondale will now look to clinch the title for the eighth time in the final at the Aviva Stadium against Crumlin United - the Dublin side defeated holders Maynooth University Town in the semi final.
