It was a bumper show this evening and top of the bill was celebrating Cork's amazing comeback in the All Ireland Ladies Football Final to claim victory over Dublin, Briege Corkery (pictured above) lifted the Brendan Martin Cup from the Hogan Stand in Croke Park, and we spoke to Mary White of Cork's Evening Echo about the amazing performance of Eamon Ryans side to take this game at the death. We got the reaction of Sarsfields, Na Piarsaigh, Glen Rovers and Douglas after todays Senior Hurling Championship semi final action where Sars overcame Na Piarsaigh, while Glen Rovers and Douglas played out a draw. Colm Keyes of the Irish Independent gave us his thoughts on Kilkennys All Ireland Final Replay success, while Denis Kirwin joined us live from Gleneagles to discuss the Ryder Cup victory and the major role Paul McGinley played in their success. We also discussed Conor McGregor's victory over Dustin Poirer in UFC 178, and what comes next for the Dubliner, while Murray Kinsella of TheScore.ie joined us to talk about Munsters loss to Ospreys in the Pro 12 last night, and how they must respond just three weeks out from the Champions Cup.
