Eimear talks to Dave about a fundraising event happening this Saturday at Mitchelstown Leisure Centre. It's a Movie Gala Night run by the CBS Secondary School Parents Council.
On the night you'll get to see 6 short films based on scenes from famous TV Shows or Movies, in an Oscar Style Ceremony. Which were pre-recorded just before Christmas, with a local cast and the use of locations within the vicinity of Mitchelstown.
With the assistance of Kevin Rowe Entertainment, these top-quality films were shot. Such as Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, Sister Act, Braveheart, and The Field.
