Fine Gael MEP Frances Fitzgerald insists Ireland will introduce the EU's digital Covid cert on July 19th - nearly three weeks after most countries.
"20 member states have it fully implemented, 7 have yet to fully implement it including Ireland, but all are committed to having it in place in the next few weeks, in fact we'll be ahead of some countries.
"The government is committed to this, and it is about having all the documentation in place and being able to sign up and get your digital Covid certificate."
