Businesses On Barrack Street Consider Withholding Rates Due To Graffiti

Businesses on Barrack Street say they are considering withholding rates and will refuse to pay litter fines unless City Council tackles the escalating graffiti problem in the area.
They say their businesses are suffering because of the Council's inaction and they have complained that the removal of the grafitti is costing them money.
Several businesses and private residences were defaced on the street over the weekend, and they're calling on the Council to appoint a dedicated graffiti warden in order to catch offenders.
