Cork City is set to become more pedestrian friendly by the end of this month
Construction started today on the pedestrianisation of 17 streets.
Diggers and workers began laying surface on Pembroke Street near the GPO this morning as part of the 'Re-imagining Cork' plan.
Cork City Council have invested almost EUR 2 million in these projects.
