Cork Man in Induced Coma Following Unprovoked Attack in Sydney

29 Year Old In Critical But Stable Condition
A Corkman is in an induced coma in Sydney afollowing an unprovoked attack.
It's reported that Jason Cierans was out with friends after finishing work and left bar when it closed at 1am Sydney time.
After crossing the road the 29 year old was attacked without warning in front of a convenience store.
Two men have been arrested following the incident - a 27 year old was charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear before court on September 24th, while a 30 year old was charged with wrecklessly causing grievous bodily harm and was refused bail - he will appear before court tomorrow.

Police say they do not believe that the two men knew Cierans before the alleged attack.
Cierans is said to be in a critical but stable condition in an induced coma at St Vincent's hospital in Sydney.
