Cork Simon says the homeless crisis Leeside will continue to escalate until

The charity says long term solutions need to be found
It follows the death of a 30 year old homeless woman in a tent in Gillabbey Park in the city centre over the weekend.
Gardai say a post-mortem has been performed at Cork University Hospital but the cause of death has not been determined, however they are not treating the death as suspicious.
Three years ago the death of homeless man Jonathan Corrie near the Dail sparked nationwide outrage, but Cork Simon say little has changed since then, despite the announcement of new initiatives.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork Simon's Dermot Kavanagh says the Government are not moving fast enough to keep pace with the scale of the crisis.
