CUH Working To Adjust Without Access To Full IT System Following Attack

The fallout from this morning's cyber-attack on the HSE's IT system continues to be felt throughout the country
Eoghan Murphy has more for RedFM News:
"CUH has been severely affected by the cyber attack on the HSE's IT system. The hospital is advising that next Monday, the 17th May, will see CUH patients with an OPD, Chemotherapy or surgery appointment keep their appointments unless contacted to cancel. However, patients with X-ray appointments should not attend unless contacted. Radiotherapy appointments have also been cancelled. Access to the normal IT systems is limited so healthcare providers in the CUH may not have access to the full suite of records. Labs are also severely affected. Only emergency bloods will be processed, while existing GP bloods will not be - at this time. The HSE say people should only attend the ED in emergency situations and that delays are likely as a result of the current IT situation.
