East Cork Sinn Fein TD not standing in General Election
Sinn Fein has been dealt a serious blow in Cork, with Cork East TD Sandra McLellan announcing she is not standing for the party in the next General Election.
Sandra McLellan confirmed that she had informed the Sinn Fein leadership last Thursday that she was not going to seek a nomination to run in East Cork, saying her work has been persistently undermined by a small number of Sinn Fein members in the constituency.
