Cllr Dan Boyle is urging City Hall to reintroduce towing to tackle the culture of parking illegally.
Campaigners have highlighted a number of blackspots where motorists park in cycle lanes, bus lanes and on footpaths, prompting a call for traffic wardens to be rostered to work Sunday's, which is typically seen as the worst day for illegal parking.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cllr Dan Boyle says the resumption of towing will force people to think twice about where they park:
