Gardaí in Fermoy taking part in pilot scheme to help people stay in touch with family and friends

Gardaí will set up a video call for people who don't have internet access or who don't know how to use all the features on their mobile phone.
Officers will set up a call on Zoom or WhatsApp and will drop off an internet enabled tablet computer for a person to use and then collect it at a pre-arranged time.
Gardaí unveiled the scheme to help anyone who struggling with the current restrictions or who may miss visual contact with family and friends.
Anyone living in the area who would like to avail of the service can call Fermoy Garda Station on 025 82 100.
