Gardaí in Fermoy taking part in pilot scheme to help people stay in touch with family and friends 

Gardaí will set up a video call for people who don't have internet access or who don't know how to use all the features on their mobile phone. 

Officers will set up a call on Zoom or WhatsApp and will drop off an internet enabled tablet computer for a person to use and then collect it at a pre-arranged time. 

Gardaí unveiled the scheme to help anyone who struggling with the current restrictions or who may miss visual contact with family and friends.
