ISPCA in public appeal after cats terrorised on northside

It's claimed cats are being targeted on the city's northside in recent weeks, with some of them left dead or very badly injured as a result.
The ISPCA is urging listeners to contact them if they are aware of any dog baiting being conducted in their area..

Lurchers and terriers are being set on cats by teenagers and young men in an effort to prepare the dogs for hunting.
The ISPCA says the practice is illegal under animal welfare legislation and says these defenceless animals need to be protected
Lisa O'Donovan of the ISPCA told RedFM News that she understands the fears of locals but these people need to be stopped:
