Leading Spinal Surgeon Says New Motorbike Safety Programme By Gardaí Has Potential To Save Lives

BikeSafe is an extra support for motorcyclists who have already passed their test
There have been 28 people killed, as a result of a motorbike accident, since January 2020.
The HSE's National Lead for Trauma Services - and keen biker - Keith Synnott says it's a programme, he will definitely sign up for:
"I use a bike for touring, I use a bike for travel, I use a bike for headspace: a lot of bikers are like that. And what you learn, the longer you go, is how little you know, and the opportunity to learn from very experienced bikes is invaluable. Really, it is a case of anticipation and learning from those experiences and nobody can do as much as these guys do."
