The remains of Thomas Kent have been laid to rest in Cork.

He's been reinterred in a family plot in Castlelyons after a state funeral this afternoon.

Kent was one of 16 people executed by British forces after the 1916 Rising - and one of only two to have died outside of Dublin.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny gave the oration at the funeral.
