Residents meet with Dun Laoghaire Council

Residents on the Glenamuck Road meet with officials from council.

A meeting is continuing between residents on the Glenamuck Road in South County Dublin and officials from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown council.

Residents have been blocking survivors of the Carrickmines fire from temporary accommodation there.

They say the site is unsuitable.

Five adults and five children were killed in Saturday's fire at a halting site - yesterday hundreds of people turned out for a candlelit vigil at the site of the blaze.

Danielle from Tallaght in Dublin was at the vigil with her daughter - she says they wanted to show their support for the travelling community:
